Using these to support my 6 year old Labradoodle following vet advice to counter joint stiffness. They do smell a bit odd, but no complaints from dog, he happily eats them like a treat, so I would guess they taste fine. With any of these supplements it’s worthwhile checking the composition as the proportions of each ingredient seems to vary quite considerably from one brand to another.
Reasonable price. As for performance, we’ve seen almost no stiffness since starting on joint supplements. I’m assuming therefore that they are providing a benefit. Hard to tell as when I ask him he just looks at me..

We have been using these CANIVET joint care supplements for over 6 months now. We had been using the other more well known but MUCH more expensive brand prior to that, for our 9 year old girls, Golden Retriever Jess and Flat Coat Retriever Phoebe. On comparing the two brands they both have the exact same ingredients in the tablets but the CANIVET is half the price of the other brand, so it’s a no brainer! why pay nearly double for the same thing? My girls absolutely love taking these tablets (don’t know if that’s because they are typical greedy retrievers) but they view these tablets like treats and they know when I get the tub out each night that it is ‘treat time’. The tablets have a ‘beefy/bovril’ like smell to them and are easy for them to chomp and swallow, I certainly don’t get any complaints from the girls! I should imagine that they would be very easy to disguise in other food for any fussy tablet takers out there. In terms of the results that I have seen in my dogs, overall I have noticed that they are much more active than they used to be and we even get the zoomies when the mood takes them with no stiffness or discomfort afterwards. All in all great tablets, great price, happy dogs and happy mum.

We have a 7 1/2 year old doberman (30Kg) who started struggling to jump up on our bed when she had never had a problem. Within a couple of weeks she started to try and drag herself up on the bed rather than jump and we had to lift her. Effective – This obviously takes time to get in to the dog’s system but once it is you can definitely see a difference. Our very active dog looks much more comfortable now. I can’t get him to have the pill in with his food as it’s quite large, so I crush it between 2 spoons and sprinkle it over.

Our older girl has had surgery in the past because of wear in her hip joint net result she is using 3 legs in the main to get around ( 4th leg is there but they removed the ball end of her leg bone) she needs a supplement and these do the job nicely

Noticed that my Chow Was really badly limping on a front leg. Initially thought this was down to a long walk but it wasn’t improving. Spoke to the vet who stated it could be elbow/hip dysplasia which is common in Chows. Recommended some joint supplements before any drastic measures (namely a scan costing £1500!) Ordered these. Started off with x2 in the morning x1 evening and the limping has disappeared. We don’t know whether it’s completely down to the tabs or whether the limping just so happened to subside, but she hasn’t limped since! Reduced her down to 2 tabs a day now and will definitely be continuing with these in the future. So it’s worked for us!

Great value when compared to more expensive brands which have near enough the same amount of ingredients in. I have used these type of supplements b4 (not this brand) and I have noticed a difference in my dogs increase and ease of mobility.
Unfortunately my dog became suddenly very ill and had to be euthanized, so he never got to have any. But I would certainly recommend joint supplements for aging dogs with mobilty difficulties.

I bought these not expecting much, but to my amazment after just one week of taking these, my 9 years alsation/collie girl is suddenly puppy like again! She was getting very achy and stiff, especially in the evenings after her afternoon walk. It was painful watching her sometimes, but now she’s much more supple. I did not expect to see a difference for at least a month to six weeks, so I am really impressed with these. My only gripe would be that contrary to what it says on the jar, she will not accept them as treats. I have to heavily disquise them in food to get her to take them, but hey if that what it takes so be it. Can highly reconmmend these!

Absolutely in love with this product. Did wonders for my dog.
My girl has a sensitive stomach and over the last two weeks (especially when it got colder) she started being stiff in the morning and was unwilling to go downstairs.
I decided to try Canimed and was pleasantly surprised how quickly our husky accepted the supplement. The stiffness gradually went away after a week and is now absolutely gone. She as energetic as our 3-year-old staffy.
Her digestion has also improved over the past few days and she has now started to drink more water and is happily eating her low-fat granules (which was a small battle previously). Toilet routine is finally back to normal. Strongly recommend.

I saw the size of the pills and thought these were going to be a problem to get into our 13 1/2yr old Staffie. Why did I worry? He eats them like treats. No idea what is in them that he likes so much but he loves them and will come running when he hears the bottle rattle. I was putting his stiffness down to age but after only a week on these and the difference is remarkable. Up and down the stairs himself. Out for walks. Even gets on the sofa if he’s not got an audience. Great value compared to some of the supplements out there but these have been amazing. I have a very much happier pooch!!
